Hi everyone,
recently had a runin with a sleeping policeman and damaged the bumper cover. Sadly it is very expensive locally and found it on ebay UK at
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Focus-II-Ford-C-Max-2004-2011-Under-Engine-Bumper-Cover-NEW-/170829239216?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AFord%7CModel%3AFocus&hash=item27c63753b0#ht_5295wt_1144
Couple of questions if I may:
1) my focus never had a engine cover. Anyone can confirm that it fits well?
2) can I still use the focus without the covers (until they arrive in the post)?
Cheers!

to answer your first question, you will need the screws and it will depend if the plastic inserts are fitted that the screws go into. i bought a full set of these for my mondeo not so long ago from ford and they were not expensive.
you can still drive the car without any problems providing the cover isnt trailing the ground or going to fall out at speed - as happened with my mates car yesterday.

My car has both fitted as standard.
Makes the engine bay a biatch if you drop anything in it as it stops it falling out!!
Don't know what else they do though..

My dads car had been at fords to have some work done, when he got it back I drove it up the drive, thinking to myself this sounds different... Thought nothing of it until underneath to change the exhaust. Ford had forgotten to put the cover back on! So it does reduce the noise of the engine a bit
