Hi Folks,
New to the site and like what i see.
I have a question, hoping some1 may be able to answer.
I have had problems with the car stalling when its hot and coming to a stop at junctions etc. I have replaced the idle control valve for a second hand one and this now is over revving the car and this making it un-driveable!! Has anyone had this problem before? Was it definately the idle control valve or was it something else?
Any help at all would be great!!
Cheers

Check all pipes and also check the condition of your replacement icv.
Sometimes secondhand does not save money, i'd recommend buying new for parts like that.

Check the throttle position sensor. Unplug it and see how she idles. If okay, replace it. Easy job, I have done it on my car.
