I have Yr 2000 Mondeo 2 litre the petrol light seems to come on before showing empty. Approx how many miles could I do on reserve please.

It should come on with around 10 litres left in the tank. Milleage wise it depends on how many miles per litre you are doing. Mine came on the other day with 70 miles left in the tank according to the computer. Normally its less than that but I have been driving like a granny lately.

I get 50 Miles Remaining should the light come on. It bongs again @ 30 miles and god knows when next i havent tried tht far
