Hey!

I have a Mondeo, year 2002. The electric fan doesnt start when the engine gets hot. When the fan gets electricty directly from the battery it starts.

Anyone how has any suggesting of what it could be?

Hi, it sounds like your fan temperature sensor is kaput.
See if you can get a replacement Ford one or if not there are units available which bypass any dodgy wiring and runs directly off an adjustable thermostat positioned in the radiator fins.
