Looking for some help
Got an mk3 mondeo on a 53 plate and I have this rattle when I accelerate???
Also using about 2lts of oil a month no oil on the floor or smoking when going down the road
But I have noticed that it blows out a cloud of oil when I change down and the engine is hot
Had in it a garage and they have said that apart from a full engine strip to find out the problem
There is nothing they can do...
Anyone heard if anything like this and if so what the hell is it [/color][/font][/size]

Could be head gasket, valve stem seals or damaged piston rings/scoured cylinders.
I think they're right and at least a head strip is required.
