Hello I have a ford focus 2001 registered in November 2001,I was wondering what mark it would be ? I'm looking for a Haynes manual also would it be the red one ? My focus is the one with indicators on the bumper

It's a mk1.

Was looking at getting the mark 2 bumper and new headlights to fit

The MK system applied to Fords is not an official Ford scheme, they go purely on build date.

Be aware that some traders on eBay get it totally arse backwards and just go MK1, Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, Mk5 whick makes it important to go by model year as it's very easy toget confused as to part compatability and which car they are actually referring to.
For your benefit though, body parts from a MK1.5 will fit yours no problem.

why do you want to do that the mk1 is better looking get some smoked indicators and zetec upper and lower grill

is it i thought it was late 2007 mind you ive got a mk2 on an 08plate at work so you may be right there.

the 1.5 bumper would fit though i wouldnt but the indicators need rerouted and wired to the headlights from the 1.5 also personaly id stick the way you are change the grills get a front lip and smoked indicators or l.e.d and some smoked l.e.d side indicators dmb gel ford badges

Thanks for that stoney871 that's a big help just looking at the Haynes manuals and judging by the front cover I need the blue one which pictures my car on the front as the red one displays the mk2
