Hi guys

Had an e-mail today from an ecu remap company recommending an on demand hydrogen system.

Apparently this would increase fuel consumption by at least 20% and enhance performance.

Does anyone have any experience of this? First I've heard of such a thing!

Sorry for the bump but I am very interested in a 20% fuel consumption decrease but skeptical of why this isn't more widely known and utilised by car manufacturers.

I have read about it and appears to be a way of improving efficiency. These can work with petrol and diesel. However I have no idea how it is fitted and charged etc

Saab did it an age ago. Basically, you have a water reservoir and it's sprayed into the cylinder to lower cylinder temperature. Works in the same way as an intercooled turbo vs a non-intercooled turbo, lower temperature = increased efficiency and power.

Water injection is nothing new. Can be helped further with a little methanol too.
