Hi i changed the dials on my mk1 petrol focus they are just white sticky ones that go on top of old ones
i took needles off and then replaced how they should be they start at beginning or cold and empty then the temperature and fuel go straight to half wen the car is turned on i have no fuel and the car is cold so whats gone wrong please does it need resetting or something?

its very easy to damage these units thats why these dial kits are a pain you may have damaged the spindle holding the needle its hard to say to be honest you may have to take it to a dealer
