Hi guys, my alarm keeps going off since i went through a puddle(Ok may be bigger) is it ok to just remove the fuse?

Im on night shifts and its constantly going off....

Thanks :)
Preee
It's got to be the Bonnet sensor , try crossing it until it dries out properly
DaveRushton
Ok, just had green flag out, fixed instantly.

Basically if you have problems where your bonnet keeps saying its open, heating controls don't work nor do front/rear demisters, and the temp gauge is just saying -- its a little plug on the fuse box in the passenger footwell the plug comes loose if you knock it with your foot.

The bloke cable tied it, ill upload a pic for you :)

Its the green plug also, for the BCM i believe :)
Preee
So not the water then , at least it's fixed :)

She's probably like my missus, always looking for the phantom brake pedal.
DaveRushton
Yeah true, may just trade her in!
Stoney871
Or make her sit in the back like Miss Daisy
artscot79
dont you have the small foam panel that fits underneath should stop her from kicking it
Stoney871
I'd put spikes there, she won't kick again.
My missus drags her handbag across the glovebox door. It's scratched to hell.
I could throttle her sometimes.

thats women for you mine wears those bloody ugg boots that soak up water like a sponge gauranteed if she has them on and its chucking it down youll find the waters soaked right through the carpet
Stoney871

what is this thing about ugg boots mate? currently residing in bulwell they are all you see. look bloody stupid n like you said they just soak up the water. even my Missus says how stupid they look n she can't stand em.
Stoney871
When you look at someone walking in them you can see the sole is not in line with their foot.
There's no stability or properly shaped footbed on them.
They'd cripple me in hours.
Brigante
I'm still crippled as it is from yesterday. if i tried the boots i'd need a wheel chair.
Stoney871
Next time you see someone walking in them take a look, the sole doesn't even line up with their feet.
Brigante
i know mate i've noticed it n just think you nob ed
