Thanks to info picked up on here, I found the pre-wired, bulbless light sockets in my footwell. Luckily I just happened to have a couple of spare red LED bulbs.

Not great pics, but you get the gist - had to be red to match the exterior.

I like the red LED's, usually coloured footwells look really tacky but they glow nice
