My daughter's 2002 Ford Ka showed faulty charging. The alternator was changed and problem persisted. Some wiring changed by Ford dealer and alternator replaced a second time. Problem persists. Ford dealer says it could be an ECU behind dash and will cost £900. Any ideas.

if your ford dealer has done any lekki things on your car then
take it back to them & get them to do a ecu test.
they run a diagnostics test to find fault codes
if there is still a fault code logged it should be removed to clear the ecu
this should have been done already & you should have it stated on your invoice.
the diagnostics check will tell them any probs found with the car that needs sorting& should have been done already m8
