rear passenger side window closes then opens to halfway tried reset as in manual but still does the same any ideas.

I would assume you have a safety device on the window that makes it roll down if it detects an obstruction.
Try some WD40 in the window channels as the sensor is probably detecting some drag on the Glass when closing and tripping the safety.
