I bought this skirt on e-bay in the hopes that I could do something with it to cover up my sill damage.
I find it is not worth the effort so if anyone is prepared to collect it, it is theirs

Couple of things - firstly it is for a three-door and would need major surgery and secondly, what Artscot said!
It is in pretty good nick

Stan, i saw a 3 door set on ebay that was trimmed down to fit a 5 door model - do it, what you got to lose? you already have the contour shape of what you need to trim off.

Sal, I just couldn't be bothered and am making other arrangements to make the sill area presentable, so anyone can have it.
The pity is that I cannot get a replacement sill for a Mk2 - plenty available for Mk1

post a pic of the sill area. cant you take it to a garage to have a plate welded on to cover the damage and then repair it (filler/spray etc) so it looks like nothing has happened?
you could just take a small hacksaw to the skirt.....Cmon Stan where's the spirit (says he that still hasnt completed the reserve light mod although 99% is ready and waiting to be fitted!)

I went through all this back in Sept in topic Looking for a Sill, where these pics were posted
Hoping to pull some of this out and do some fibreglass filling and bodgery. If I do, will put up more pics.
Skirt still available

Stan, i had a look at the damage and it is fixable. normally they panel beater will weld one a few tacks and pull it out or will apply a new plate over it and blend it in.
i did find this on ebay:
the replacement panel will probably cost you a lot more to fix so get the fibreglass/bodyfiller out and sort it.
