and sorry in advanced if this has been covered already but i faid to find it in the fourms if it has been.

i have an 06 focus lx . it has keyless entry and ingnition . the keyless entry works fine but the ignition wont work. when i swap out the fake key thing and use the hidden key in the fob it starts fine.

so i know its not the ingnition . it might be the clutch switch ot the in cabin detector .

some info that might help (or might not) i have reciently change the battery in the fob i dont think its related but if i knew all i wouldnt be here..

any help would be grealy appreacated .

Hi mate, does one push of the start button turn the ignition on then?? Just the actuall engine that won't start?? If so then the clutch sensor is probably the problem. If not even the ignition will turn on then its probably the KVM module, which could be expensive
