Since changing the wipers on my mk 2 occasionally when I clean the front screen the wipers will stop in a odd position like pointing up or halfway on the screen. They will then correct them selves a second later and go to the normal rest position. Anyone got any ideas cheera

I'd check the relays and wiring for damage.

wonder if there is a position sensor?

That's what I was thinking because after it stops it resets it self within a second maybe it detects too much friction on the wiper or something
