Hi all
I have a 06 mondeo 2.0 tdci
I have had my injectors done now when I rev to about 2000 then let the peddle go I get like a snatch off the engine revs drop below 800 ish then come back and some times it stalls
The car has done 100 000 mile not sure about history could this be timing chain tensioner
And can this be changed or tested
Thanks
John

My first thought was the flywheel. But don't panic, I may be completely wrong.

[/quote]Aye, done the one on mine (plus I changed the crankshaft pulley and idlers at the same time). I dropped the engine for better access, and the only thing that went wrong was the nut snapped off the track rod end when I tried to remove it (much easier with as much as possible out of the way).
The biggest head-scratcher for me was routing the new aux belt. Put the belt through the tensioner, replaced the tensioner mount, tensioner and alternator before realising I'd got the belt through the tensioner wrong, had to take everything off again!
