So, who’s having a car change in 2013? What car are you thinking of getting? Or are you happy with your car and if you are, tell us what makes you happy about it

I might be changing next year, in either March or September. With the new (and ugly) facelift Fiesta, i don't think i will buy another, so that leaves the Audi A1 or the new Renault Sport Clio what comes out next year.
I could be tempted by the Fiesta ST if the price is right. But i need to see one in person before making my mind up about the new bumpers.

I may be Upgrading my motor to a 09/10 plate fiesta Zetec s. my wee fez is starting to get a wee bit old. My front left brake calliper has just decided to lock up so I'm not in the best of moods with my wee motor.

Not so much getting a new car, but my Mini's having a few tasty treats laid into it
I have unfortunately considered leaving Ford though if money goes well, but that's not certain just yet >.<

I'd love a new focus but, unless I win the lottery, I can't afford it

. When I finish uni, however, that will be one of the first things I buy!

I've not seen the new MkIII yet. The top FR engines (170PS diesel, 210+PS petrol) have gone but hopefully the build quality is better than the MkII. I loved my MkI Cupra TDi.

Breaks my heart but my car is going up for sale tonight. Love my wee fez to bits but I need something cheaper to run to save up.

Got my eyes on a very nice well equipped black Ka, which is suprisingly nippy for a 1.2 (test drove it at the weekend) and my plan was to eventually get wheels like on the metal.

I just hope its still for sale once mine goes!

Ive just sold my old 2001 Y reg prefacelift 2.0 Zetec Mondeo for a good price, and bought a 2004 54 reg facelift 1.8LX Mondeo. Totally love the new car. Just got a couple of small issues that need doing, which I can sort myself

I hate to keep saying it in nearly all my posts lately, but seeing as you asked
I'm trading in my Fiesta for a Focus 2.0 TDCI Titanium X, just waiting for it to arrive from Ford Direct with the local dealer.
i wasn't going to change my car for another 2 years, but I kept looking at the Focus and finally gave in, lol.

well i've had the car now since thursday and all i can say is wow i was comtemplating getting an audi a4 black edition but am glad that i didn't now. i've never had a car that is such a head turner when it was parked up at work on friday the amount of people that looked at itr then did a double take when they realised it had a big blue oval on the front and wasn't a bmw ou audi.
every time i drive it a huge grin appears on my face

i'm finding excuss now to go out in it like going to the shops and forgetting to pick items up so i have to go back later and get them

Is it better deal financially? Does the Focus hold more value after a few years is what might be the deciding factor!

It does tend to. my last Focus (2005 Zetec Climate) gained £1 in resale value to what I purchased for it. That was about 2 years later

lol.
They are more comfortable, and IMHO practical, and certainly the latest shape is a lot more striking.

Not gonna lie, the new Focus is great to drive and be in; unless you're really set on a Fiesta like I was, go for the Focus. A Zetec Focus is nicer than a Titanium Fiesta and probably not that much difference in costs.

I pick up my two litre one six three ps powershift titanium Kuga tomorrow, from EAG paid the deposit yesterday, get rid of our one point four litre 03 diesel fiesta, done us proud, smokes a bit on start up but since we had the turbo done never had a thing go wrong, be sad to see the old girl go, to the scrap yard, but even hen we get three hundred pounds so still giving til the last. Old fords never die they just get slower.

Went into my local Ford dealer earlier today and ended up being in there for 3 hours. Was going in thinking Fiesta Fiesta, came out and most likely going to put a deposit down on a Focus in the next week or so.
Couldn't go for another Fiesta when you get £1,500 to £2,000 deposit allowance on new Focus!!
Managed to negotiate a pretty decent deal on a Focus Titanium in Ink Blue. If I put down my deposit this week it should be ready by May with my added options :) very helpful salesman but glad I managed to haggle down a fair bit!

Hi all, I've ordered a new ford focus Titanium (125)ps 1.6 Powershift.
It's a great car except the option packs for the 1.6 powershift are not available! eg: DRIVER ASSISTANCE PACK, & CONVENIENCE PACK!!! the 2 best pack's  . And of course all new focus's come with the newly improved ELECTRIC POWER ASSISTED STEERING, BUT NOT THE 1.6 POWERSHIFT!!!!!! There are two 2.0 diesel powershifts and you can have any of the packs and the elec steering, <_< but why not on that 1.6 powershift.
I'm afraid the sales people weren't technical enough to know why.
If anyone knows why pls tell/explain
Thanks all
