I'm trying to change my sidelight bulbs on my Focus but when i turn the long stick and try to pull it out it doesnt move. Does anyone have a solution to this?

it should there are 2 very thin tabs on the side of said stick squeeze them in the way and give it a try

Ok, its just one of them. I can twist and pull one out fine but the other one will twist and I hear a clicking sound but when i try to pull its like something is stopping it or its still locked in place.

not much keeps them in place i would disconnect the headlight and have a look as it should be easy

Yes thats the next plan, it will be easier to work on.
