I believe ford use gates i would personally only use gates fai i used on my vw and there tensioners were rubbish some would even shatter

also i would never let a timing belt run for its full interval - there is no guarantee it will last

Always a good idea to change the idler pulley at the same time.

Idw buy the full kit the belts are good the tensioner always fails you should get the belt and tensioner as well as tensioner and cam bolts in the kit
