Sport makes it slightly heavier and tones down the power steering. Comfort makes steering easier when parking etc, and makes the steering lighter.
Normal... is well normal... lol
I run mine in sport all the time... but i must say the differences i find minimal apart from comfort at low speeds...

Standard is the default setting, everyday useage.... Comfort makes it better for city driving, parking etc...... Sport makes your steering more responsive on twisty roads, ie country lanes etc....

Ford Manual also suggests that sport mode is best for icy or snow laiden roads as faster response and more feedback from the wheels.
