actually I lied I only just fitted a start button on the car

the cars ultrasonic blue with ice violet flakes (it flips its to purple at night n in the sun)
Got the 18" st alloys on it
the start button I got off ebay but it ain't on there anymore I tried my best to find it for u guys but no joy
But I do remember the seller was
demon tuning uk, or something like that
I got a mate to fit it for me it took us about an hour n half he made it look easy lol

I'd assume you just turn the key to second notch and press the button instead of the full key turn?
BTW, lovely looking dog, Husky or Malamute?

I think you can tell I have a soft spot for dogs.
I like the idea of push button start but knowing me I'd knack something up and the missus would slot me.

I too av a soft spot for dogs n thinking about a career which involves em,
I had a 3yr old husky but lost him a week b4 xmas due to a tumor
(Stoney) Ok That buttons very similar to what I have n I paid around 12 for it

Sorry to hear of your loss before christmas though.
I'd be interested to know where you wired your start button to. Seems theres a couple of options, but one on the web suggests that on a MK2.5 its just plug and play in the steering column?

Felt like I lost a child
Yeah it was jus a case of splicing it into the ignition wires under steering column
My mate works for the fords development team so he knew basically what to do
It was jus hard finding the right wires even with his diagram lol

hey love the car and the dog ive just got a couple questions:
*did the car come with xenon headlights or did you install them
*the front bumper is an st one but where are the holes for the xenon washer jets?

I bought the headlights separate off an st
And the bumpers I got from Poland for a mad mad price
It was on a st they used as a race car
it is an original bumper but ain't got a clue about the washer holes lol

I'm using the old st loom that came with lights
all but 1 of the wires are in use I think It was number 8 port on the loom not too sure as it was bout 9 months ago lol

Like above our king charles passed away before xmas and the kids would love a dog like that must admit ive always wanted one myself but i prefer to take rescue dogs and they dont crop up that often.
I do like the car as well if you win the lottery ill provide my name and address just drop them off on the way to wherever ill accept youre donation lol

We lost one of our King Charles' just before Christmas '11. A year without one and my mum really wanted a new one... not wanting to hijack this thread, but I give you Arlo...
