i got a 2003 ford focus and nothing is wrong with it at all no problems except it seems to take a while to start, longer then i think it should. it takes about 5-6 seconds to start... it starts everytime and is fine except the fact it takes a while to crank over? why is it doing this
its a very clean car granny driven has 151km on it

Are you letting the immobiliser light go out before you try starting up?

Just coz a granny has owned it doesn't make it a good car, usually there low mileage which mean has been sat about more than driven and most of the time they let services slip because of the low mileage, I would just change the plugs and leads and see how u get on, I also noticed when I have a 03 focus that if you try to start and let go to quick before it starts and then try again it will take 5-6 secs to crank, maybe changed the fuel filter aswell or get the fuel pump checked out.
