A cyclist hit my door mirror today and the mechanism is hanging out of the case by the wires

I'm not sure how it fits back in the case
can anyone help?

can anyone help?[/quote]sound like a new mirror to me plastic parts break easy try a breakers yard or flee bay

I managed to put it back together, luckily there were no broken parts


There are 4 bayonet type clips which fit in 4 holes in the mirror case
and a flat strip which sits in a slot on the door side of the case
put the flat strip in the slot then line up all 4 clips and press firmly
it took 3 attempts to get all the clips secured
