I am a mechanic (buses though, not cars!) and have recently been given a MkII Mondeo with 135k on clock to commute to a new Job. I was told the clutch was slipping so dutifully changed it, which is not a fun job!! Even with the new clutch fitted the bite point was as high as with the worn out clutch and it was still slipping, so i changed the clutch master cylinder, and it still slips >.< Everything now points to the flywheel being worn, but i have never come across a flywheel wearing out like this, and before i spend another day and a load of cash changing the flywheel i wondered if anyone else had come across an issue like this and if the flywheel wearing this way is a problem others have had. Thanks in advance for any suggestions that dont involve changing the flywheel!!
