Hi all, YES I am on night shifts again....
And to keep myself occupied I am browsing the web for more parts to add to my car ££££

Does anyone know if this ST exhaust will fit my focus mk2.5 ... Do I just need the back box part ? Not the bit that runs down the middle of the car?

In one word no.
The ST has a flat boot with no spare wheel well and it's exhaust back box needs the extra space as it's quite large.
If you fitted it to a standard Focus it would be left on the first speed bump you encounter.

Ah your joking!!! That's sucks..
Do you know what sort I would need then?
What to search for in eBay?
Would prefer to try and pick one up second hand somewhere... Rather than paying our a fair bit..
Thanks :-)
Brigante

you would need a custom exhaust made, kinda like lenny's

i looked into the st exhaust long ago

as clive says it wont fit cause the back box will sit too low as the st doesnt have the spare wheel well

You could have a fake tailpipe on one side

You could have a fake tailpipe on one side

I was thinking that! Would be a lot cheaper but wouldn't I need to extend the the original some how ??
Because as it is at the minute it is sorting of set back and aims curves down slightly

You could cut off the "downturn" part and fit a tailpipe to the "active/ working" side, it could be adjusted to line up with the ST bumper cutouts (or you could cut your existing rear bumper)  then get a matching one for the "dummy" side, you can buy the trims/ tailpipes online, they are not that expensive, (you could choose the shape you want) a hacksaw, a couple of clamps etc you could do it in an afternoon, i recon

Longlife or powerflow... Two good companies that manufacturer custom exhausts. If you just want the back section modified I doubt it would be too expensive.

Ah sorry mate i thought you wanted a working duplex exhaust

if you just want dummy twin exhaust tips what you could do is get just an st backbox for around 50quid, hollow it out/ cut the shape of the spare wheel well out the top n glue it around the wheel well.

So looking at your motor from behind it'll look like you have the proper back box n twin pipes, n shouldnt affect your existing exhaust aiming down

On the movie the Sweeney they used base models and dressed them up as STs, the exhausts would have boon fake and even the boost gauge/ extra gauges were just stickers!
