Okay so basically I left work and everything was fine, drove a mile to get some food, went to lock and it wouldn't. So I done it with the key hole. The car wont unlock neither and so when I unlock it with the key hole and get in the alarm sets off and wont stop until I put the keys in the ignition.... What the hell is going on? Haha thanks guys :)

Sounds like a faulty fob specifically the transponder chip you may need to get a new key with transponder cut and coded but i woukd have it checked out first do a dash test see if thetes any dtc codes check to see if the immobiliser light flashes irregularly it should blink every 2 seconds with the key in the ignition it should go off see if it flashes and write down how many times this can show a pats fault ie 2 flashes 4 flashes

Change the battery in the fob and re-sync the remote to your car, as a first step.

If that fails, try another remote, they're easy enough to get from ebay.

Don't be tempted to get another transponder chip programmed as they have nothing to do with the remote locking, they only hold the encryption for the Pats system that allows the car to start.
