All of a sudden my car's limiter has stopped working and my car will rev right out to 7 thou anybody know what this could be? it's a 1996 1.8si

the limiter is controlled by the ecu so you could try a reset first,if this does not work it could be the pick up sensor faulty.

it could be a faulty sensor or somthing to do with the wiring on the back of the rev counter or your coil
