alright, i have a W redge fiesta zetec currently with the standard 15" alloys on it.

will 17" alloys fit on it without needing to get any modifications done to my car, if not what will need done?

A mate of mine done it & he wishes he never because the ride is terrible, handling is worse & it makes the car look, and i quote him "Boy racerish!"

Everyone knows that if u fit bigger wheels on a car, the handling and comfort level gets affected due to the decreased amount of tire.
As for the looks....thats just your mate's bad taste!
