Can you assist please, I'm would like to clean the idle control valve on a 1.4cl 2001

instead of giving it into a garage can you please tell me the following in [b]IDIOT PROOF LANGUAGE [/b]the following:

1, where is the icv

2, how do i clean it

your assistance in this matter is much appreciated.

the inlet manifold or on front of engine i heard some say the clean them with carb cleaner from local motor factors

there a plunger in them and you spay the carb cleaner in there and leave for a bit but not on the electric contacts

as dezwez says.

if you require the pages from the haynes manual i could email them to you?
