Hi hope this is the right place to put this I have a problem with my central locking on the car what is very strange.
When I try and lock the car with fob key or the inside button on either front door it just unlocks stright away but will unlock the doors with fob if I lock manually by holding buttons in till central locking stops I have tried pressing the sensors to enter test mode and hazards flash on all doors and bonnet so can not find out what the problem is any advice would be appreciated thanks in advance Roy

the car doesnt have keyless does it?

Otherwise, it sounds to me like perhaps you should try the spare key. It may be a faulty transmitter that is constantly sending a signal?

Hello thanks for reply.need key out ro get in not keyless and would it still.not lock with.the inside button.on handle if it was rhe key tranmitter thanks

if was keyless, not necessarily, but as you need a key, I would expect it should. It could be the Central Locking module is the problem. do the doors lock ok if the battery is disconnected...?

Roy89
HI if I pull the green central locking connector out from drivers kick panel all lock manually fine
jeebowhite

very weird, is it only when the car is with no keys, or only when the keys are in the electrical position / ignition on?

Roy89
When ever you try and lock the car either with key in lock or by pressing lock buttons inside with key in ignition or not but if out side car and press fob the dont lock then unlock just click very strange lol :(

sounds to me like one of the doors isnt locking. If the bonnet lock, front door locks, or the boot lock fail to initiate, I believe none of the doors lock.

Disconnect the battery and try lock the doors individually and see what happens...

Roy89
They all lock when battery is off two front ones by the key back ones by there buttons and boot looks as soon as its shut

Sounds to me like one of the front door modules have gone faulty, the only way to test for this is to disconnect the front doors, one at a time and try locking the car with the remote, if the lock bounces back open with the passenger door disconnected, but not with the drivers door disconnected, then it's the drivers door at fault.

Likewise, if the lock bounces back open with the drivers door disconnected, but not with the passenger door disconnected, then it's the passenger door at fault.

Roy89
Hi thanks for reply doors bounce open when either ones disconnected

I dont know if this helps but when I press door lock in only that door lock goes in but all make a noice thanks

could be a wiring issue, I suggest your best placed either seeking an auto electrician, or a dealership! it will save you money and headaches in the long run!
