hi my 20l tdci s max pulls back when at low revs mainly when cruising at 60-65 I've had the latest pcm update it seemed to start 30 miles or so after the update been back to dealer but computer doesn't show any faults

Sounds like an EGR issue, I think the update is coincidental with the problem.

Is it just unresponsive, and slow to get to speed, or feels like a little bump in the acceleration?

hi jeebo no its like its like a few bumps at constant speed

Yeah more likely to be egr and or a split pipe.

You can fit An egr blanking plate, I did this and it smoothed the car immediately and it reduced the smoke. Then I had a cracked turbo intercooler pipe Which is now replaced and all is a lot better...

ok thanks have ordered one today

How did you get on with the EGR blanking plate. Did you notice a difference. Wondering what the re-percussions are post install of a blanking plate. Surely the filth has to go somewhere. Do you then need to regularly remove the plate and clean the back log out?

Fitted an EGR blanking plate yesterday and going to post feedback on experience of driving with it on.
