I am planning on selling my old 1.4 Astra, and replacing it with a Focus 1.6 diesel estate, of a 2005 to 2007 registration. It would have to be less than 40,000 miles on the clock.

Is anyone going to put me off the idea??

Certainly not, the focus is a fantastic car. Brilliant drive, no worse problem wise than other makes.
