Just got an old Ford, a 1997 Mondeo 2.0 Estate to be specific.
The engine was busted, so I had to get a new one right away, same age though. Had it on the road for 6 days now, so far so good. Previous owner never checked oil, so one rod threw in the towel, or rather: threw out the bottom end, bang, through the wall.
Never had a Ford before, only Toyotas. Will I be as happy with a Mondeo?
Is quite OK to drive, trying to find out what mpg to expect.
