hello does any one rember manual choke what do people prefair manual or auto choke

Was a great place to hang the chinese take away from...
Always preferred manual choke, especially on the Weber carb... the good old days !

By gum lad, them were the days. Manual choke, points and condensors, engines yer could see and get yer 'ands around, stuff yer could fix wivout a compooter!

Am I showing my age

When auto chokes first came out we used to swap 4 or 5 a week to manual, they were cr*p.
They certainly improved over the years.
