Hi all,

New to the forum, just wanted to say hello, and i was just wondering how everyone out there is faring now that the weather has turned noticeably colder, i know some of you in the colder corners of the country are probably already feeling it, but here in the midlands, i've just pulled out the work fleece, which is my indicator lol, how are the fellow diesel drivers going, how many turns do you give the old glow plugs before starting lol.

Welcome to the family Paul.

Personally (for now anyway!) my car is fairing pretty well! the temperature is around 5 - 8 degrees on a morning these days, the glow lights go out pretty quickly and it fires up quickly too, so all in all, I am pretty impressed that its faring so w

haha we just need to remember to wash our hands after driving & only have a relationship & be faithful to ONE car :P

jeebowhite

lol, to be fair though some cars make it difficult to be faithful to, you just cant help but to spread yourself around it, get your hands all over it and throw it around the place! make a bit of noise and hope you dont suffer the consequences of a good night the next morning ;) :p

I always wear a rubber..................glove.

jeebowhite

lol :) keeping a pack of rubbers in the boot for when your getting dirty on your car is always advisable. a set of overalls to take any spillage that results from the dirty area's will at least keep your clothes clean ;)

Here's a tip for when you go down and dirty on the old girl.
