An induction kit, exhaust and a remap will give 18/20 bhp more on a 1.8 focus..

there's a few good ind kits, k&n, etc. have a look on demontweaks or potn.com.
i can do it for £260 thats me coming out to you and you get a lifetime warranty on the map.
