I know the water pump is on the aux belt on the 1.8 tdci engine but I got told by ford that they recommend changing the cambelt either at 125000 or 10 years which ever comes sooner so I would ring them to check cheers Sam

Mines same interval time but then you hear of a few failing before this i've been quoted 95 for all the bits including water pump then 120 for labour, or I might just wait till 115000 miles but im starting to worry

Timing belt, aux belt and their pulleys are a minimum

Somebody mentioned idle tensioners. Dont have the faintest idea if dat needs to b replaced too

anything the timing belt touches ideally would be replaced. As that makes sure everything is replaced and done and less likely to fail!
