Hi has anyones driver side door handle broke coz mine just has won't open from the outside at all.Also can this be fixed by myself or will i have to take it to a garage (will this cost lots?) sorry so many questions.

hi

it will have snapped of in side and you will need a new handle fitted,
i got one from the the breakers for a fiver, its twiddly to fit as one of the two fixing screws is hard to get to but apart from that its an easy job.

Both my door handles are now broken. How can I get in ?

Thats not good i would probably ring ford and ask them what to do.You will have to get someone out to try and fix it.

Hi blondie,
ring a breakers and they will send you a door handle if your too far away to collect, then ask your local garage or a mate, fitting wont cost much more than a drink..

thats great thank you. If i have to open the door from the pas side one more time ,driving me mad!

and if you look in autotrader there's usually specialist ford breakers as well...

You will just need to climb in through the boot
