Hydraulic clutch fluid leaking under car on to drive way, have to keep toppiing up resevoir every couple of days when computer sends me an alert and harder to get in gear.

sounds like the clutch slave cyliner has gone if you look at the bottom of the gearbox bell housing is it wet with oil if so the slaves gone so a new clutch and slave cylinder will be needed

Sounds about right do you think im going to be paying about £900 ?

what mileage is your car? youll probably also need to replace the dual mass flywheel. all in (with DMF) it shouldnt cost more than around 600.

About 55.000 sounds reasonable I supose

depends on how you drive. bad clutch use will give issues like this very early

It can happen anytime really its likely a rubber seal on the slave cylinder it will eventaully go altogether so youll have no gears as happened to me no warning no slip it just went
