Full Version: Accelerator Cable In Engine Bay
Ford Owners Club - Ford Forums > Ford Models > Ford Focus Club

Me, yet again! I have a 2002 1.8 TDCi focus that has a noise coming from the engine bay that only occurs when the accelerator is pressed. I need to find out where the noise is coming from, but I don't usually have a second pair of hands (or feet) to run the accelerator whilst I look in the engine bay. Can someone tell me where the accelerator cable is, in the engine bay, so that I can rev the engine without having to press the pedal?

cheers in advance!

Pretty sure it will be drive by wire so all electronic.
Ah, ok mate I was afraid it might be that. Guess I'll just have to try and make some friends then =D
