Hi all, just a noob here so plz be gentle, but had a mondeo 2.5 (2001) for last 5 yrs with lift up type reverse gear knob which I upgraded. Now looking to transfer it to a new Focus 1.6 Zetec I'm picking up in a couple of weeks.... Failed to notice in original test drive, but does the new Focus also have a lift up type reverse?
(Something tells me it isn't but not sure!)

Anyone plz? Just want to know if the 1.6 zetec is a pull up reverse or not?

mine is a 55 5dr 1.6 Hatch zetec and not pull up reverse

I've an 09 1.6 TDCI and there is no pull up reverse

Not quite true, my Focus is six speed and its not lift up reverse, think its same for all of the Focus's (at least mark 2, not sure about 2.5)
