You mean it isn't out already!!! I can't believe they haven't already produced a manual for what I am led to believe is Britain's best selling car...........?

Yes it does seem very strange that such a popular car should be so late with manual.

I have a diesel 55 reg and in desperation for service info I bought the 51 to 05 version earlier in the summer, could not find any info on when new manual available. Old manual could not tell me where the pollen filter is located so hope this is clear in new manual.

Don't all us oldens wish we had kept our Haynes manuals for all our old cars(with well worn oily pages for problem areas), my first was Hillman Minx.

I purchased the new manual, it's not verry good and full of inacurate information, the important topics I would read up on are only breifly touched on.
Not a patch on the older manuals, but cars were much simpler then, my first was Mk 1 Escort 1973 and have only owned Fords since.
Pollen filter change, remove glove box cover, dismount fusebox, remove cover screws on end of filter housing and pull out filter.
By the way it's a bitch first time. If you look at fiesta manual (not the latest model the one before) it's in the same place.

actually I'm picking up my new to me Focus tomorrow from a Ford Dealership, it's done 32,700 and they have serviced it today [as they do on all cars they sell] The sales guy assured me when I asked that it would be a 36K service, so I should reckon the pollen filter will be included in that. Should be good for a couple of years I reckon. Is it supposed to be done yearly ?
