hi

my car has got a bad problem .
wenever the car is reved over 2000 rpm it makes a rumbling noise from the engine almost like it cannot get rid of the exhaust gasses
the cat is also making some strange NOCKING AND RATTLING noises. almost like i have and exhaust bracket gone . (which i dont ) haha
i didnt no if the cat was blocked and was not letting the gasses escape fast enough.
anyway i really hope someone can help as i am stuck without a car .

the rattling your cat is making is because it has probably broken up inside as this is the usual tell tale sign, and could well be causing a blockage and hence your lack of power

1 of 3 things to do first.

Take the CAT off and replace.

Take the CAT off and clear out and re-fit.

Take the CAT off and fit CAT replacment pipe.

Try one of these and see what happens then.

yeh im gunna take the cat of tommorow hopefuly if the rain holds off and clear it out and refit it
i will let you no what happens
