hi, newbie to the site.
im after some info about my ford KA.

the engine check light has come on and stays on.
the car drives fine/exactly the same as before.

obviously this is an error of some kind so ive bought a code reader from ebay.

but wondered where can i find what the codes mean online for the KA? specifically for a 2001 x reg.

ive heard it could be cat related, i may pop in some fuel cleaner to help with emissions, see if that helps....


any ideas???

there are plenty of sites that can explain the codes, just do a search for Ford Fault Codes.

Ie a p1***** on a ka is the same part/sensor error as on a focus???

I don't have to find specifc codes for the ford ka?
Just any site that lists ford codes will help even American sites?
