This is from the Haynes manual 4167. Notice anything unusual about it?

Interesting how the belt goes on one side of the pulley and leaves on the other side..
Although some of the haynes books are far more flawed than that.
They don't even mention the drive belt tensioner pulley is part of the bracket on some models.
I think you should only use the haynes manual as a guide.

Their modern manuals are definitely less informative than the older ones. They've dumbed down a lot in my opinion.
They're still fairly useful for torque wrench settings and wiring diagrams though.
