My high beam keeps coming on all by its self and is becoming a real pain in the arse!
I'm driving down the road and see people flashing me and I wonder whats up with them, then notice that my high beam is on :o
At night this is a real pain!

Has anyone ever had this problem? does it mean I will have to get a new light stalk or can it be fixed??

cheers

hello mate this happened to me and you need a new arm on the stering wheel. you can only get this as a whole piece so you have to take off the indercator arm as well.TOOLS; no 20 star-drive and a dumpy philips screw driver. should take less than 15 mins.

Hi mate,

I have been having the same problem with the full beams, pleased to hear it such a quick fix. I'll get down the scrappy later.

Sorry for the thread hi jack but you dont happen to have a air filter box for a 1.8Lx in that shed do you?
Need one and struggling to find one. Am waiting for one to come into the local scrappies but thought id ask on the off chance!!

Cheers mate!

I've litterally just come back from the scrappy and fixed it about half hour ago!! they tried to charge me 15 for the one I took off but I only had a tenner on me so he took 10 for it lol.
They said if I bought one off the shelf they would charge me 25 for it!
The job itself was really easy to do, just needed to take out 4 of those star drive bolts and one phillips head screws undid two connectors and fitting was obviously just as easy ;)

No only airbox's i got in the shed are for 1.8d escort vans mate. sorry.
