new user here!
just become responsible for the family car (husband left). Had / have a leak in my passenger footwell.
Not a clue - got it sorted (hopefully) at the cost of £614.24!!! :o

BUT repair sheet says it was a curl clip that had come adrift causing water ingress from the scuttle panel.

Okay! nice words - what the hell is a curl clip and a scuttle panel???!!!! Is this something, with a little practise, i could have tried to sort myself?

any views / ideas welcome...........

water ingress is a common problem on the galaxy and is caused by the scuttle panel leaking. the scuttle panel is at the bottom of the windscreen exteria and covers the polen filter. it has to be removed to change the pollen filter (around 20 min work) so if you have had a service latley it was not refitted correctley. it should have just been a case of removing and resealing the panel but for £600+ i would want to know what they did as this is a very steep price.. see here for full fitting instructions.
