Hi guys

Im a new member and I decided to trade in my Mitsi Evo 8 for a new Zetec S which is coming this Friday!

My Evo spent most of its life looking lonely on my driveway so I decided it was time to let her go, decided I needed something a bit more sensible but something that still looked the part I think the Zetec S fits the bill just nicely. I have owned several fiestas previously including a W reg Zetec S a J reg XR2i and also my very first car which was a Mk1 fiesta

Anyway just thought I'd say Hi

being a mitsi hard nut fan, the 8 being my fave I am shocked...but then so is the running costs I guess!!

What colour? I am waiting for me ZS TDCI in red to arrived early december!

I could no longer justify having it sat on my drive, it needs a better home where it can get some proper attention plus my insurance just expired along with the tax at the end of this month so the timing just seemed right.

The Zetec is coming in Frozen white, the Mitsi was metallic black which was a pain for showing chips!

dont spose we could see some car porn?? as in pics of the old beast...then pics of the new one when it comes?

I so love the ev8. Dream car. I would take one over anything...and the great thing is I have the wife completely happy that when we start a family, its an ideal family car, good boot, 5 dr etc... Drove one early this year...loved it so much...but me thinks not the best car to teach people to drive in....so ordered a ZetecS! LOL!

Youd have to charge a bit more for the lessons if you taught them in an Evo to cover the petrol lol, I learnt to drive in a 4 speed Fiesta and the examiner wasnt gonna let me do my test because they had previously been withdrawn due to faulty seat belts!

Lovely place. love the whole of Cornwal but it is lovely there. Some fantastic roads for an Evo 8 i should think
