Hoping I have put this in the right place, what sort of power are you diesel owners sporting in your Fords? Many of you guys had remaps and other tuning related bits done?
Pictures and details very welcome!

I used to have an Escort Van with a TD conversion.
We opened the pump up a little and made an atmospheric wastegate to it, and JESUS did it shift!!! Not sure what power it was but it didnt half go

Not me.
But I have used a number of tuning boxes and came to the conclusion that they are nowhere near as good as people make them out to be. The one I'm using at the moment has more or less the same innards as the most popular (and expensive) box in the UK, and the performance gains are negligible.
Instead, the improvement is in smoother power delivery, rather than sheer grunt.
I've noticed (esp MKII Focus 1.8 TDCi), that the highest settings do make a difference, but that if you do the acid test of revving past 3500 rpm, then the engine management light comes on. Not that you tend to rev that high, but the manufacturers suggest that while it doesn't affect your car, you should use a setting that doesn't cause the light to come on.
Experience shows that the MKI is less sensitive (in 1.8 diesel form) to the box, but if people think that they are really getting 140bhp from the stock 115bhp, then the rolling roads they are using are somewhat generous (I rarely see a before and after on the same RR).
I'd say that if I'm really lucky, I might have 125bhp. No more at all - it's a pig-slow car (after owning the ST170).
