Hi
My 1999 Ka has developed some lighting issues over the weekend, and I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to the problem. In no particular order, the instrument panel light isn't working (makes driving in the dark interesting!), the interior light doesn't come on when you open the doors, but does work if you switch it on with the doors closed, and my personal favourite; when you indicate right, the rear right indicator flashes, but so does the left-hand brake light, and the right-hand tail light fades (but doesn't go out) the overall effect of which is like following a mobile disco. However, if you indicate left, just the left rear flasher comes on (i.e. is normal). All other lights are fine. Any ideas please?

the christmas tree lights will be a bad earth at the rear lights, check and cleaning all the earths should solve the problem, the dash light could be a fuse or the bulb gone, and the same with the interior light check the fuse first.

Hi, had a look at the fuses and all seem fine, will definitely have a look at the earth connections though - thanks
